BEN: Celebrating Black History Month

The project was created for Amazon Europe’s Black Employee Network (BEN) to commemorate Black History Month 2020. This project reimagines how visual storytelling can honor Black excellence and cultural heritage by highlighting prominent Black figures through dynamic and impactful illustrations.

Proposing a new approach to cultural celebrations by adopting a vibrant, localized, and inclusive design. The visual identity is bold yet adaptable, featuring a striking series of illustrations that could be customized for different European countries, ensuring relevance and resonance across diverse audiences. Each artwork celebrates the legacy and achievements of key Black personalities, emphasizing their global influence and contributions to history, art, science, and society.

By balancing a cohesive visual style with flexibility, the final proposal enabled  to deliver a meaningful tribute to Black history while fostering inclusivity and representation within the corporate environment. Tasks such as art direction, illustration, and adaptability for localization ensured a polished and versatile solution.
